Join us at the second edition of the International Spring School
Welcome to the second edition of our International Spring School: Biosolutions for Sustainable Agriculture – Innovation in Action.
Join renowned scientists and industry leaders to discover the latest advances in Agtech, with a focus on digital tools and biosolutions (biostimulants, biocontrol, biofertilizers).
Discover sustainable approaches that will shape the future of agriculture. Benefit from Wallonia's solid scientific expertise and take advantage of knowledge gained from cutting-edge research.
Meet over 200 professionals, exchange ideas with your peers, and establish collaborations that promote real change in the food system.
Keynote Speakers
Christian Huyghe
The former scientific director of agriculture at INRAE will give a speech on how digital tools and biosolutions can transform agriculture into more resilient and sustainable systems. His vision bridges science and practice to design agriculture that serves both farmers and the planet.
Richard Bélanger
Dr. Bélanger has been a full professor at Université Laval since 1999 and held a Canada Research Chair in Plant Protection from 2001 to 2022. His research focuses on developing genetic and biological control methods to suppress plant diseases. He has supervised and graduated more than 27 postdoctoral fellows, 20 PhD researchers, and 42 master’s researchers, and has published more than 200 scientific articles, cited nearly 20,000 times, making him one of the most productive researchers in the world in his field.
Vassil KOLAROV
Director of the Research and Innovation Department, he leads the department that supports the internationalisation of research & innovation (R&I) actors in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
