Explore Food Pilot – A morning of innovation around new proteins
As part of the 'Innovate' pillar of the Interreg Food RADARS project strategy, we are pleased to invite you to a morning of discovery at the heart of agrifood innovation at Food Pilot, Flanders' reference center for food product development and testing.
Target audience
Ingredient suppliers, processors, start-ups and companies interested in protein alternatives.
Programme
- 9:00 AM – Warm welcome.
- 9:30 AM – Focus on New Proteins: Presentation by Flanders’ FOOD on ongoing projects and market trends in Flanders. ILVO will share insights into protein extraction techniques and related challenges. A company active in the field will share its experience.
- 11:30 AM – Visit of Food Pilot: Tour of the facilities and demonstration of the pilot plant.
- 12:30 PM - Lunch and networking: An informal opportunity to deepen discussions and create synergies.
- 1:00 PM - End of the event.

Pratical info and registration
- The number of places is limited, with a quota allocated by slope (France, Wallonia, Flanders).
- Maximum 2 people per company.
- Group travel arrangements can be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Event language: English, with French or Dutch support available if required.
