Wallonie S3 Forward: Agri-food chains of the future and innovative environmental strategies
Save the date Wallonie S3 Forward : on April 11 at Ecolys
Join us on April 11th in Namur for a unique event organized under the auspices of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Discover the Strategic Innovation Initiatives of Wallonia and initiate promising collaborations.
The aim is to initiate transnational collaborations with agri-food and innovative environment ecosystems at EU level.
In addition, on the sidelines of the event, meetings will be held with operators active in the Ingredients for a Circular Economy partnership (I4CE) and for EU funded projects: MixMatters, BioTech4Food, Be-Resilient and F2F. These partnerships and projects focus on the following themes: double transition, bio-based ingredients, bio-waste recovery, internationalization, etc.

9:30 : Presentation of Wallonia's new strategic framework for its innovation and industrial policies, Vincent Lepage - Director Economic Policy Directorate (Public Service of Wallonia)
10:00 : Pitches of the 6 strategic innovation initiatives of Wallonia
11:30 : Round-table discussion with representatives of: Awex-WBI and several Directorate-General of the European Commission

Areas covered: water, food, functional ingredients/food products, alternative proteins, digitization and biosolutions, reclaiming wasteland through phytomanagement solutions, agri-food chains, diversification of plant production, short supply chains and more.
